Program Objective:
The purpose of this program is to help trainees gain an understanding of the food safety
system in Egypt, which in large is regulated by the National Food Safety Authority. The program
will cover the role and responsibilities of the Authority, its executive regulations, special food list
and how businesses can meet the requirements set forth by it. Program also covers the
organizational structure and decision-making mechanism within the food industry in Egypt, along
with the relevant facilities and governmental bodies to address when facing any roadblocks.
