Service Description
 
Seeking to prepare and develop a professional and customized program that meets the objectives and expectations of the client, TRAIN will follow the below methodology that consists of 5 main steps:
 
Stage 1: Training needs assessment and meeting with the targeted teams
<ul style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;padding-inline-start:48px;"><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:10pt;font-family:Calibri , sans-serif;background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;">During this meeting, TRAIN will introduce the training’s scope, highlight the importance of the key topics to be covered, understands the backgrounds of the participants, and align their expectations from attending the training program.</li></ul>
 
Stage 2: Preparing the diagnostic report
<ul style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;padding-inline-start:48px;"><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:10pt;font-family:Calibri , sans-serif;color:rgb(36, 36, 36);background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;">Based on the meeting held with the trainees, TRAIN will prepare a diagnostic report with a SWOT analysis and a summary of the key findings concluded from the scoping sessions. This report will define the areas of development and the needs expressed by the team, as well as the training material, role plays, and case studies that should be tailored to meet those. The scoping sessions can be conducted offline or online.</li></ul>
 
Stage 3: Preparation of the training material
<ul style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;padding-inline-start:48px;"><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:10pt;font-family:Calibri , sans-serif;background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;">Upon identifying all the training needs, TRAIN’s team will start tailoring all the training material including case studies as well as role plays, or quizzes needed. All training materials will be then sent to the Ministry for their approval and any additional comments before proceeding to deliver the training program. </li></ul>
Stage 4: Delivering the training
<ul style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;padding-inline-start:48px;"><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:10pt;font-family:Calibri , sans-serif;background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;">TRAIN will deliver the training program and be responsible for facilitating the delivery of the program through its staff. After delivering the training, evaluation forms will be handed out to all trainees to assess the instructor’s performance, the quality of the training material, and key outcomes of the training program as a whole.</li></ul>
 
Stage 5: Final summary report
<ul style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;padding-inline-start:48px;"><li style="list-style-type:disc;font-size:10pt;font-family:Calibri , sans-serif;background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;">Within a maximum of 3 working days of the delivery of the program, TRAIN will deliver a final summary report to the team. This report will provide a recap of the training program as well as the key learnings and outcomes achieved in each session, case studies, plays role plays, and any other material distributed in the training. In addition, the summary report will provide an analysis of all evaluation forms that were handed out in stage 4, including recommendations for future training opportunities, initiatives, and activities if there are any.</li></ul>

country by reformulating and enhancing the Investment, Value Added Taxes, Industrial Licensing,
Importers Registry laws and many other regulations. However, these policies can only succeed if
there is a coherent dialogue mechanism in place that allows different stakeholders to negotiate,
advocate for change and debate to reach an agreement that brings mutual interest to all involved

  The purpose of this program is to strengthen the mechanisms of communication on the
national, regional and international front by equipping trainees with the skill sets needed to
participate in negotiations and debating sessions. Program covers the skill sets needed to be a
successful negotiator, the process and phases of negotiations and debating, the methodologies,
tactics and best practices to follow as well as red-lines. The program will also cover how to form
coalitions, how to lobby to achieve interest and the different follow up mechanisms and tools. </div>

sectors from value-added taxes to help more service providers access international markets. <div>

trade in services as well as the different obligations on service providers in Egypt to access

developments and trade in service agreements, as well as how they could leverage each to

taxation policies, which affect companies on both the short and long run. Taxation policies can
ultimately help a business grow, but also curb their sustainability and result in financial and
deadweight losses if not understood or managed by experts in the field.
 Program Objective:  <div>The purpose of this program is to familiarize trainees with the recent taxation policies and tax
laws in Egypt, tax exemptions and benefits available and how these can affect businesses. The
program also includes technical material to teach trainees how to calculate a tax return and
methodologies to calculate their net profit, how to identify deductive and non-deductive costs,
how to avoid tax violations and finally, how to meet Egyptian accounting standards. </div>

Taxation Policies

</div><div> </div>Food safety is an issue of concern to all companies operating in the agriculture and food sectors
looking to export or import goods and raw materials. Egypt has seen many developments when it
comes to regulations around food safety, especially with the birth of the National Food Safety
Authority which set in place a list of executive regulations that every company must abide by to
meet consumer standards and compete in international markets. Program Objective:  <div> The purpose of this program is to help trainees gain an understanding of the food safety
system in Egypt, which in large is regulated by the National Food Safety Authority. The program
will cover the role and responsibilities of the Authority, its executive regulations, special food list
and how businesses can meet the requirements set forth by it. Program also covers the
organizational structure and decision-making mechanism within the food industry in Egypt, along
with the relevant facilities and governmental bodies to address when facing any roadblocks. </div>

certificates and standards of quality to ensure they can compete on international markets. As
such, without quality infrastructure management systems, businesses can experience

The purpose of this program is to help trainees gain an understanding of the concept of quality
infrastructure and identify the different quality systems that can help their product meet
international standards. The program will also teach trainees how to meet the requirements of
different ISO standards like ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 45001 among others, using efficient health
and safety management tools and mechanisms. </div>

Quality Infrastructure

</div><div> </div>The WTO as well as all agreements uphold principles to ensure the smooth flow of trade in
goods. However, in some circumstances, derogations may occur that can threaten local
manufacturers and result in unfair competition; this is why the WTO has signed the Agreement on
Subsidies and Countervailing Measures to regulate trade practices through safeguard measures
and policies relating to anti-dumping and countervailing.
 Program Objective:  <div>The purpose of this program is to familiarize trainees with trade remedy practices such as
anti-dumping, countervailing measures and safeguards, as well as their impact on trade activities.
The program will teach trainees the different mechanisms of protecting local production in cases
of dumping, as well as the different survival tools to help local manufacturers expand their market
share in the presence of foreign competitors. The program will also help trainees learn how to file
a dispute against unfair trade practices, facilities and bodies to reach out to, and finally how to
settle disputes to ensure continuity in local markets.</div>

Trade Remedies (Safeguard, Anti-dumping, Subsidy)

monetary and fiscal policy reformulations or enhancement to its regulatory framework.
Governments as well as entities in the private sector are expected to help increase the flow of
foreign direct investments and communicate to investors the potential of the Egyptian market. <div>
Program Objective:  
</div><div> </div><div> The purpose of this program is to teach members of governmental bodies the fundamentals of
attracting FDIs into Egypt and communicating with investors. The program addresses how to sell
Egypt as an attractive market, covering key topics such as Egypt’s infrastructure, macro and
micro economic indicators, trade policies, incentives and benefits, the country’s socio-economic
and political environment and finally the future direction.</div>
